I have one to sell!
Attractive collector-grade Cochrane from this attractive oversized issue. Featuring identical poses to the R316 Kashin issue these 5" x 7" sepia-toned or black and white cards depict all the stars of the era. With 18 cards in the set in total completing a set is challenging but attainable the cards scarce but not impossible to find. Traditionally blank-backed the issue can also be found with three different printed advertisements on the reverse: A. Bonemeary "Big Prize " and "Lucky Yo-Yo." While the latter two are the most scarce the Bonemeary reverse is difficult in its own right adding a layer of toughness to an already-challenging issue. While we have sold three examples of the Bonemeary Cochrane it is important to note that all three came from the same collection; this card is more scarce than it would appear from looking at our auctions. It is also important to note that during the time we held these three cards SGC changed its policy toward the grading of cards with stamped backs. Unfortunately SGC no longer grades stamped cards which means the graded population will remain relatively stagnant. This example graded FAIR 1.5 is one we have not seen before with light toning throughout as well as some overall wear responsible for the grade.
