Beautiful cabinet photo featuring Frank Corridon pictured in 1899 with the Newport Colts of the New England League where he was an 18-year-old pitcher. Corridon would pitch six seasons in the majors peaking in 1907 with a record of 18-14 with an ERA of 2.46. Corridon was featured on a number of different cards including the Rose Company Postcards issue the E90-1 American Caramel set M116 Sporting Life and most notably the T205 set. The image quality of this photo is exceptional though the studio name seems to have been scraped off the front of the mount. The reverse exhibits some discoloration the year "1900" stamped in the center. An exceptional photo.
