Complete set of 9 cards from the H804-14 "Big White Shoes" advertising trade card set. The cards are thusly named because each of the oddly-drawn players appears to be wearing of course big white shoes. The cards were typically used to advertise an assortment of business establishments with advertising printed on the front back or both. In this case six of the nine cards feature advertising messages printed on the card fronts while five feature advertising on the backs. One example the "Where Do You Want It?" caption has had its borders trimmed away while the rest appear to be at or close to their original size perhaps trimmed slightly during the period. Roughly F condition with age-related wear uneven cuts and scrapbook remnants on the reverse. Nine cards total.
