Rare and desirable box cover to the Christy Mathewson "Big Six" indoor baseball game issued by Piroxloid Products in 1922. The cover has been matted and framed to a finished size of 21" x 28". The frame is modern and is damaged slightly so it is not recommended that it be a permanent home for the piece. It is our policy not to remove framed items for descriptive purposes but as one can see from reviewing the photo the cover dies exhibit sonsiderable water staining throughout most pronounced at the bottom edge. Still the graphics are outstanding and worthy of display despite the staining. A very desirable and graphically appealing Mathewson-related piece.
