Outstanding collection of memorabilia related to Duke Snider Night held on August 26 1960 at the Los Angeles Coliseum. On that night the Dodgers outfielder was honored by fans as the greatest slugger in Dodgers history. Though the 33-year-old Snider would play four more seasons (including one with the Mets and one with the Giants) he had become a part-time player by 1960. Included here are the program from the night's events plus two ticket stubs from the event and an envelope that contained the tickets. The stubs are in excellent condition though the envelope is well-worn with writing and discoloration. The game program is also quite well-preserved. An outstanding grouping of mementos from one of the Dodgers' finest and most beloved players.
