Interesting 1930s card of Babe Ruth clearly mass-produced depicting Ruth posing for the camera in his road grays a white facsimile signature superimposed over the image. Measuring 2 5/8" x 4 3/4" the mostly blank-backed item resembles part baseball card part photograph nothing but the number "520" printed on the reverse. We have been unable to find an origin of this piece which is in poor condition with significant creasing and wrinkling some surface dirt on both sides and a tack hole at the top center. Ruth was clearly the subject of many promotional items during the course of his career (and afterward as well) and it is likely the origin of some will always remain unknown. Still this is an interesting item that appears to be from Ruth's playing days from an uknown source.
