Very clean image of a young Rogers Hornsby graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC and perhaps a bit conservatively so. Surface wear seems minor with light corner and edge wear that does show some toning. The majority of the technical assessment of the card is related to what appears to be chipping of the surface on the postcard back which appears different than standard paper loss that results from scrapbook removal or something of that nature. Still that chipping - most visible along the bottom and right edges - has reduced the technical grade of a card that looks far stronger on the front. A wonderful image of the young Rajah.
