Interesting pose of George "Piano Legs" gore the image of which is centered better than that of the example pictured in The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company by Miller Gonsowski and Masson. The pose checklisted as #196-1 in that book depicts Gore crouching to field a ground ball. The detail in the image is strong as is its contrast - much more so than is typical for the issue. An outstanding example from one of the hobby's greatest sets.
