I have one to sell!
Attractive 1910 Washington Senators team pocket schedule as published by the Washington Herald. The single card has been meticulously preserved and was graded NM-MT 8 by GAI during their early days. The card exhibits very little wear or toning some chipping visible along the edges but little additional wear. The 1910 Senators managed by Jimmy McAleer were a second division team finishing with a 69-82 record. The Russell's Rustlers "Base Ball Boys" playing cards feature six different generic player poses and are printed in blue or red tone. It appears that sample cards (such as this) were distributed through local newspapers the sample card bearing the schedule of a local Major League team along with an advertisement for that newspaper and a solitcitation to buy the playing cards. An interesting card type a generic player but an advertisement for a major league team.
