Circa 1894 McLaughlin's Coffee die-cut image of a young girl clutching a catcher's mask "Mascot" emblazoned on her jersey. The die cut comes with an overlay to place on top of her torso changing the image to that of a ballplayer holding a ring-style bat and baseball. Approximately 3 1/2" in height both pieces exhibit some wear particularly around the edges with some visible paper loss on the sweater overlay. An interesting and seldom-seen die-cut piece representative of the 19th Century popularity of scrapbooking.
