Extremely difficult 1910 W-Unc Ty Cobb. Unusual and very scarce "card" of Ty Cobb originating from a children's notebook cover and part of a 26-subject "set). The cards were trimmed from the cover and it was only a recent discovery of an intact notebook cover that the hobby learned what the cards actually were. Demand did not diminish after the discovery as the cards remain difficult and very desirable in any grade. Presented here is a card of Ty Cobb the key to the issue graded AUTHENTIC by SGC due to the erratic trim typical of youngsters of the era. The card also suffers from pencil markings on the front and back which impact the card's eye appeal but not its desirability. A very scarce and important card.
