I have one to sell!
Manufactured in 1950 by the Allied-Grand Doll Manufacturing company of Brooklyn incredible Jackie Robinson doll. While the doll itself is highly collectible it is virtually never found with its rare accessories (baseball bat advertising tag numbers and its original box). The outer box features a photo of Robinson on the front advertised as "your own personal picture of Jackie Robinson." Given that the box came complete with dotted lines for cutting the picture out it is no wonder the box itself is so rare. The doll is one of the finest we have seen some minor crazing evident on the back of the doll's head the Brooklyn Dodvers cap and uniform exhibiting only very light age-related soiling. The shoes and laces are still intact and the felt #42 for the uniform is included. The glove-shaped hang tag (virtually never found with the doll) is included and is in EX/MT condition safe for a crease on one end of the bat with its original string included as well. The baseball bat with facsimile signature also difficult to find is in EX/MT condition with virtually no signs of wear. The outer box the smaller of two different retail boxes into which the doll could be found is in FAIR condition with significant wear noticeable at the edges and tabs as well as some noticeable surface wear. The bottom tab as well as an inner tab have become detached though both are still present. The box itself is a rare and valuable piece in any condition and makes for an outstanding display. The opportunity to acquire the Jackie Robinson doll in this fine condition with all the accessories and original box is a rare one.
