Beautiful grouping of 20 different sheets of baseball letterhead each containing a letter written by a team executive or player. Most in EX condition notwithstanding folds from mailing and occasional staple holes. Includes the following: 1) New York Giants: 1956 letter from John S. Schwarz to Geo. M. Trautman requesting personal data on two players. 2) San Francisco Giants: Undated letter to fans from the "Publicity Department" advertising the availability of team photos. 3) New York Giants: 1955 letter from "Dorothy" to "Ruth " outlining attached checks as payment for a dinner. 4) Pittsburgh Pirates: 1962 letter to the "player development committee" (in this case the copy was sent to Charles Feeney) from GM Joe Brown 5) Bostin Braves: 1939 letter from Bob Quinn to J.B. McNulty of the Northern Baseball League thanking him for the season pass. 6) Brooklyn Dodgers: 1932 letter serving as a contract for young Thornton Schwenk who played several years in the minor leagues signed by Schwenk and his legal guardian. 7) Chicago Cubs: 1937 letter to Gene Wagner from Charles Druhe to a fan. 8) Cincinnati Reds: 1947 letter to Steward Shaw from Gabe Paul signed by Paul. 9) St. Louis Browns: 1939 letter to Perle Stewart of the Pennington Gap Baseball Club from Assistant VP G. E. Gilliland regarding player Mike Surgent. 10) Seattle Pilots: 1969 Letter from Joe Schultz to Sandy Adelman fulfilling an autograph request. 11) Kansas City Athletics: 1960 letter to Phil Piton from farm director Hank Peters. 12) Cleveland Indians: 1955 letter to G.
