Well-composed photo of eventual Hall of Famers Eddie Collins and Dave Bancroft as taken by famed photographer Paul Thompson. The two foes shake hands and smile for the camera the reverse noting the players are "rival captains." The photo has been subject to significant wear with some corner clips and a cut corner at the lower left. Some tears have been repaired on the reverse with clear tape.
