Clean 8.5" x 6.5" Type 1 photograph of a 1910s-era Red Sox team clearly taken during the first part of the decade. Each of the players wears a full-length team coat making even the team difficult to identify. Embossed with the emblem of Gus Williams of Boston Mass the photo is in outstanding condition save for an upper-right corner clip and some glue remnants on the reverse from long-ago scrapbook removal. Though Tris Speaker and Smoky Joe Wood are visible in the photo the lack of Ed Cicotte's presence suggests this was taken in 1913 or possibly 1914. Any later photo would of course include the unmistakeable image of Babe Ruth. Regardless an attractive sharp team photo. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
