Enormous full-color photo depicting the 1960 Boston Red Sox team. Framed in a modern frame to a finished size of 33" x 27 1/2" the photo is cut from a rare massive advertisement for Narragansett Beer (the original ad measured approximately 4' x 3' and yes that's FEET). The advertising information has been trimmed away from the gold borders and framed. The full advertising piece is rarely seen. The 1960 Red Sox finished in 7th place with a 65-89 record and frankly aside from the hitting prowess of Ted Williams did not have much to excite fans. The arrival of young Carl Yastrzemski in 1961 would begin to reverse the team's fortunes. EX appearance despite the trimming though the trim us uneven in places.
