Interesting collection of Ted Williams-related ephemera including som seldom-seen items. Collection includes the following: 1) 1950 Sport Thrills Comic: Featuring the "thrilling true life stories" of Williams and Ty Cobb GOOD condition with significant wear some light writing on the cover in what appears to be grease pencil. 2) September 1946 Calling All Boys magazine with the "Story Of Ted Williams" comic. FAIR condition with significant wear cover detached from the publication. 3) c. 1957 "How To Be A Better Hitter" Pamphlet: published by Hillerich & Bradsny - EX condition with mild wear at the spine. 4) Nissen Bread Jar Opener: 5" diameter jar opener featuring the advertising slogan "Take a tip from Ted Try Nissen-Bread." NM condition with light toning unused. 5) Scarce 1950s "How To Play Baseball" Photo Record: Published by Roy Gregory Inc. of Bridgeport flexible phono disc backed by Ted Williams photos. FAIR condition original sleeve VG/EX with light edge wear. 5) 1950 All-Star Baseball "Pin Up" Ted Williams (2): Two separate pieces one still featuring the die-cut perforated page intact (EX/MT+ condition) the other having been removed from the page. 6) 1960s Sears Roebuck & Co. Ted Williams "Tips On How To Become A Better Hitter" 45RPM Record: Not in original sleeve record appears in VG condition with light foxing to the label. 7) 1947 "Famous Names In Baseball" Publication: 8 1/2" x 6 1/4" softcover pamphlet produced by Hart Schaffner & Marx Clothes and distributed by Walkers of Canton Ohio. VG/EX condition with visible paper loss in the upper-right corner. 8) 1989 THe Kid's Kid Presents A Musical Tribute To Her Father Ted Williams: Two-record set sealed in its original package and unopened. 9) 1951 American League Golden Anniversary Program: VG/EX condition with surface edge and spine wear. 10) 1950 Gene Mack Hall of Fame Cartoons Major League Parks (2): Two ouotstanding books featuring illustrations by Gene Mack detailing each major league park along with milestones that occurred in each park. Each example in VG/EX condition with corner wear light tears but interior pages presenting far better. An interesting an unusual grouping of items related to Ted Williams. 13 pieces total.
