Exceptional midgrade card depicting Philadelphia's defensive outfield wizard Jim Fogarty one of the only N172 poses where the player actually appears to be making an effort to look as if he is authentically playing baseball. In card 165-1 Fogarty actually appears to be poised to catch a fly ball (albeit one hanging from a string attached to the ceiling). The grading company applies greater emphasis to the quality of the corners and edges than to that of the image however the image contrast and clarity is still above average for the issue.
