Simply outstanding card from the extremely scarce and condition-sensitive 1951 Topps Team card issue. The Topps Team card set featured nine teams each with dated and undated variations and are extremely difficult to find in any grade much less higher grades. This example was consigned to us in ungraded form by an extremely advanced collector and we submitted it to PSA. We were thrilled to discover when the grades posted that it attained a grade of NM 7 - the highest-graded example to be assessed by PSA and the only example at that level. The previously highest-graded example a PSA 6.5 sold for nearly $700 in an eBay sale nearly ten years ago. Very few other examples of this card have sold publicly at any grade. The scarcity of the card coupled with its high grade should make this a welcome addition to any of the sets on PSA's registry each of which would receive an upgrade by adding this card.
