Though the 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" advertising flier for Huskies Cereal features a number of famous athletes of the day but it is unquestionably Lou Gehrig that dominates the piece. Printed in brown and white ink the front of the piece includes endorsements from Frankie Frisch tennis champ Fred Perry Olympic champion Glenn Hardin swimmer Helene Madison and president of the "Huskies Club" Lou Gehrig. The reverse is a solicitation for joining the Huskies Club where youngsters could redeem Huskies boxtops for club memberships and special prizes. In outstanding condition the flyer exhibits some minor wrinkling weakness at the fold but nothing that detracts from the display quality.
