The various card issues produced by Topps for the Venezuelan market are among the most scarce condition sensitive and highly desirable card issues of the 1960s. These cards are typically found in poor condition due to handling and also mounting in albums. Indeed of nearly 1 900 cards from the issue to have been graded by PSA only 10% have graded EX-MT or better; nearly half are graded VG or worse. They are however highly desirable in any grade due to scarcity. We have been fortunate enough to have received a large consignment of cards from the 1962 set including many of its keys. Presented here is a large group of 139 cards from the set all ungraded. The average grade is clearly on the lower end of the spectrum however many of the cards are extraordinarily clean and sharp cards that could potentially grade EX or even better.
