I have one to sell!
Attractive matted and framed newspaper supplement from the April 10 1921 issue of the Cleveland Sunday News-Leader magazine. Coming off the team's 1920 World Championship the celebrated ballclub is featured in a large composite image on the front page with manager Tris Speaker's portrait large and colorized the local hero. In addition to the ballplayers (which also include Smoky Joe Wood Riggs Stephenson Joe Sewell (HOF) Stan Coveleski (HOF) and more) the team's 1921 schedule is printed in the bottom-left of the piece. Some wear is evident as is some age-related fading. The edges show wear with some minor holes and tears many reinforced with clear tape. One piece of clear tape is also present in the center of the piece protecting a tear in pitcher Jim Bagby. Despite the take the piece displays wonderfully in its frame.
