Tabloid-sized advertising display from the Chicago Herald and Examiner the subject of this "Last Minute Photo" being the 1934 World Series which pitted the Detroit Tigers against the St. Louis Cardinals for the championship at the end of one of the greatest baseball seasons in history. The piece has been dry mounted to heavy board secured with shrink film and though this prevents us from examining the back appears to be in very good to excellent condition. An outstanding document of the 1934 World Series featuring a full team photo of the Detroit Tigers along with an aerial view of Navin Field.
