Gorgeous E100 Type 1 Bishop card of Walter Carlisle of the Vernon Tigers. Carlisle had played three games with the 1908 Boston Red Sox but never made it back to the big leagues. While with the Tigers in 1911 Carlisle made an unassisted triple play from the outfield thus far the only outfielder in pro baseball to do so. The card itself is in fantastic shape softer corners and some mild staining the real condition flaws. A very scarce card from a ballplayer with an excellent story.
