Beautiful gelatin-silver photo featuring the 1908 Concordia College baseball team including a young speedster named Maxmillian Carnarius or as we know him Max Carey. Mounted to nearly 9" x 6 7/8" the photo displays wonderfully though the mount itself has seen better days with spots and strips from various adhesives marking the front and back along with a stain on the lower edge. Some of the players are identified on the reverse. The photo is similar - but not identical - to that which was used in the Concordia yearbook in lot 101. This photo is pleasing and clear with excellent image contrast.
