The 1952 Bowman Large Jim Lansford a single-printed rookie card is one of postwar football collecting's most desirable rarities. The Bowman Small issue does not carry that same legend as it was not single printed and does not come with a story of multiple copies having been destroyed. As such this clean well-centered and colorful example is certainly valuable but not the $15 000 card it would be had it been the Bowman Large counterpart. Still an exceptional card graded long ago by PSA and not ever resubmitted for review. Just one example has graded higher than this with just 14 at this level.
