I have one to sell!
Rare complete box of Royal Desserts from 1952 featuring an uncut card of Willard Marshall. The Royal Desserts cards are particularly scarce. Complete boxes are another matter entirely. The Royal Desserts boxes contained sweetened gelatin (think Jell-O) desserts and thus including baseball cards on the box panels was a wonderful way to attract the interest of young children who wanted a card of their favorite player. But what child wanted lime flavored dessert? We suspect not many and thus we suspect that the lime flavor dessert boxes are likely even more difficult to find than the more conventional flavors (i.e. strawberry for instance). The box is in outstanding condition with some minor water staining and paper pulls at the top and bottom of the boxes where they were once sealed closed. A wonderful example bright and clean undoubtedly rare. Also included is a 1952 Royal Desserts card of Hall of Famer George Kell in VG condition with corner and edge wear along with some minor toning.
