Two cards featuring popular subjects from the deadball era Johnny Kling and Chief Meyers. Both cards have been graded VG 40 by SGC the Kling example originating from the collection of noted hobbyist Lionel Carter whose collection was liquidated through a hobby auction nearly ten years ago. The card is very attractive as were most of the cards in Carter's collection with a deep red background wide borders and exceptional centering. The Meyers card despite the technical grade does not boast the same eye appeal as some light soiling edge wear and rounded corners definitely impact the card. Still it presents well for the grade. Two exceptional collector-grade cards one of which does have some historical significance in hobby lore.
