What? A baseball card in the football card section? Is this not out of place? Technically no. This is Hall of Famer Paddy Driscoll the NFL's first All-Pro quarterback who led the 1925 Chicago Cardinals to the NFL championship. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1965 just the third quarterback inducted. Driscoll was also considered the best drop kicker in the league during his time and later became a football coach for the Cardinals from 1920-22 and at Marquette from 1937-40 becoming a member of the Chicago Bears coaching staff for 28 years until his death in 1968. Driscoll also played pro baseball briefly with the Chicago Cubs in 1917 and then with the Los Angeles Angels in 1919. He played just 39 games with the team hitting one home run with a .264 average - but that was enough to get him on a Zeenut PCL baseball card in 1919. Graded POOR 10 by SGC the word "Chicago" has been written and erased from the top edge of the card some creasing and surface wear helping cement the grade. An interesting curiosity a rookie baseball card of a football Hall of Famer.
