Clean pair of Hall of Famers from the popular and condition-sensitive T213-2 Coupon Cigarettes issue. Though these cards appear as T206s they are coated with a slight gloss - more like T207s - that is susceptible to cracking and wrinkling and thus are typically found in lower grades. The lower grades do not necessarily translate to poor eye appeal however as the cracking in wrinkling is difficult to see unless the cards are held in light at certain angles and inspected closely. While these cards have similar wrinkling that is less faint than what we are describing the visual appeal is still exceptional and certainly greater than the assigned grade. Included are cards of Clark Griffith (SGC VG 40) and Rube Marquard (Portrait NY shirt - PSA FR 1.5). The Marquard does exhibit some surface abrasions on the reverse that impact the technical grade.
