I have one to sell!
Exceptional RPPC featuring the 1915 Denison Railroaders a Western Association team based in Denison TX. The team featured several players who enjoyed a cup of coffee in the majors along with one of the greatest players to ever set foot on a diamond: Rogers Hornsby. The card has been graded POOR 10 by SGC due to overall wear creasing and a chip missing from the top-left border. The players have been numbered in pencil with corresponding player identification on the reverse (a wild-eyed Hornsby can be seen in the back row second from right the number "4" written on his chest). The 19-year-old hornsby was in his second season with the club but had already attracted the attention of the St. Louis Cardinals whose scout Bob Connery purchased new spikes and a glove for Hornsby. Hornsby's contract was purchased by the Cardinals with a month remaining in the season the future great managing 14 hits in 57 at bats by the end of the season. An incredibly rare and valuable postcard featuring the owner of the second-highest lifetime batting average in baseball history.
