Highlighted by Hall of Famer Jack Chesbro a clean and attractive grouping of T206 cards each of which have been graded AUTHENTIC by SGC. While each received their grade due to a light trim our opinion is that the majority of the trimming is likely vintage not done to deceive (though there are clearly a few exceptions). It is well-known that plastic sheets designed to hold tobacco cards in the early days were slightly small and many collectors trimmed their cards to help them fit in the sheets. Likely this was the case here. Included in the collection are the following: Fred Burchell Jack Chesbro (HOF) Peaches Graham Harry Howell (Hands at Waist) Harry Krause (Pitching) Paddy Livingstone and Hub Perdue (Old Mill Bac). All 7 cards boast strong eye appeal despite the technical assessment all feature common backs unless otherwise noted. In a "buy the card not the holder" collection these seven T206s are prizes.
