Distributed in Cuba in 1924 and 1925 with Aguilitas Cigarettes the Aguilitas "Segundas" set contained 900 cards with a wide variety of subjects including baseball players movie stars soccer players boxers and others. The 44 players from the Cuban Professional League in the set includes several Hall of Famers and Negro League stars with the issue's keys being the two different cards of Pop Lloyd plus one card of Oscar Charleston. One of the issue's 44 baseball subjects 28 are enshrined in the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame. Presented here are two cards: one of Emilio Palmeiro graded GOOD+ 35 by SGC and Chuck Dressen graded GOOD 30. Both cards exhibit staining and signs of scrapbook removal but otherwise present well. The staining on the reverse is typical as so many of the Cuban cards from this era survived by being affixed into albums. Two rare cards from a desirable Cuban issue.
