It takes several glances at this T209 Contentnea card of H.H. Hoffman to understand the reason for the POOR 10 grade assessed by SGC. In the upper-left section of the card along the border a strip of paper loss is visible barely infringing on the color of the card to the left of Hoffman's outstretched glove. Despite this the card is exceptional boasting strong visual appeal far better than the grade which despite being technically accurate is certainly misleading.
