I have one to sell!
Collector-grade example of what is probably the most important card of the T212 Obak issue. This example graded GOOD 30 by SGC has a strong appearance with some minor notches at the top border and mild wrinkling at the top of the card. The overall appearance is closer to VG however until inspecting the card closely. Even corner wear and exceptional centering add to the card's eye appeal. Buck Weaver has become one of the most popular and important subjects in the prewar baseball hobby. A member of the 1919 White Sox he was banned by Judge Landis for knowing his teammates' plans to throw the World Series and not telling officials. Despite hitting .324 in the Series and maintaining through his entire life that he was not involved Weaver's ban remained and is still in place today. His legacy has grown over the years and despite a .272 lifetime batting average in just nine seasons his cards often sell for prices far higher than those of Hall of Famers from the same era.
