Spectacular 1935 Joe Marty card from the Zeenut PCL issue graded VG 40 by SGC but with far stronger eye appeal for the grade. The grade is due to discoloration at the lower-left corner of the card as well as a notch on the right edge of the coupon. The overwhelming majority of the Zeenuts have had the coupons removed as they included a redemption offer and grading companies assign numerical grades to the cards that have had the coupons removed. The cards are orders of magnitude more rare with the coupons however. In this case the majority of the condition flaws on the card occur on the coupon area - had the coupon been removed from the card it would likely attain a much higher numerical grade - but be far less remarkable. A truly exceptional rarity.
