I have one to sell!
Exceedingly rare 1911 version of the "Auto Play" baseball game with spinning tin dial. The game self-contained in its box is played by spinning the dial and then moving "coins" around the field based on the results of the spin. Various dials are located throughout the board surface to mark runs innings outs balls and strikes. While the game is rare it is the "coins" that are extremely desirable. Each coin represents a player with various player names and positions printed on paper discs that cover the coin surface. The game contains several blank coins as well which can be filled in by the owner to reflect new players (or lost coins). This game contains dozens of coins and though we cannot speculate as to what a complete set might entail this example definitely features more coins than we have seen than any of the other examples of this game we have discovered in our research. While the game surface does exhibit some wear this is an extremely well-constructed and sturdy game. The cover however is cardboard and has been subjected to wear folds and tears at the corners and edges that make the entire cover seem flimsy. In addition the center spinner requires some sort of pivot that mounts into the center of the board and that pivot is missing. It could however easily be repaired or replaced with a small piece of wooden dowel or peg. Regardless this is a very rare game rendered even more so by the presence of so many player "coins."
