Spectacular complete Cuban tobacco card album easily the finest of its kind that we have seen. To the best of our estimation the album was issued in 1936 to house cards inserted in tobacco packages produced by the Tabacalera Cubanas brands. The book measures 14 x 11 1/2" and is approximately 2 1/2" thick with a heavy board cover and detailed individual pages. Each two-page spread provides information on a different country the left-hand page containing educational information about the country it's location and its people. The right-hand page includes spaces for the small photographic cards to be mounted with black photo album corners with each country featuring black-and-white cards depicting various people and locations within that country along with a full-color card with an illustration of that country's flag. The result is a beautiful and elaborate presentation that includes more than 1 000 cards depicting various countries around the world. Given its country of origin the book is in amazing condition all its pages intact securely bound within the album. The set is entirely complete all the cards securely attached inside. While we cannot judge the condition of the cards because they are mounted within the photographic corners they are simply beautiful each photograph a vivid and gorgeous representation of its subject. Easily the finest collection of its kind that we have seen.
