Interesting 1941 high school football program for Mount St. Michael vs. Gonzaga high schools the game played in the Bronx. The Left Tackle of the Mount Saint Michael team is future Hall of Famer Art Donovan preparing for his move to Boston for college and his eventual move to the Baltimore Colts where he would have his Hall of Fame career. The program is in VG/EX condition well-preserved by Donovan himself who passed it along to our consignor a friend of the Donovan family and longtime associate of mid-Atlantic sports teams. This auction includes a variety of interesting items relating to Donovan and his family (long active in the sport of boxing) but this is probably our favorite likely the only Art Donovan high school football memento to be offered at public auction.
