I have one to sell!
One of the most interesting baseball-themed memorabilia pieces we have encountered a "Paint-A-Player" set from 1954-56. Featuring endorsements from Mickey Mantle Jim Gilliam Hank Bauer Duke Snider Phil Rizzuto and Eddie Mathews this paint-by-number kit included instructions brushes watercolor paints and three canvas illustrations of several ballplayers. The included canvases feature three members of the Milwaukee Braves - Chet Nichols Joe Adcock and Andy Pafko (thus enabling us to date the piece to the three seasons all three players were on the Braves) the set itself is in apparent VG condition with some wear to the box notably at the edges and corners with small areas of paper loss. The interior does exhibit some minor pencil markings on the palette. Included inside is the canvas two brushes and 11 oil paints (one color appears to be missing). An exceptional seldom-seen piece.
