Issue in 1954 the F156 Red Heart Dog Food set offers an excellent alternative to the larger Bowman and Topps issued produced the same year. Packed with Hall of Fame members and featuring attractive portraits this set consists of three separate series and each series could have been obtained by mailing two dog food labels and ten cents to the Red Heart Dog Food company. Featuring Cincinnati’s Roy McMillan this “near mint – mint” sample from the Red Heart set shows McMillan in front of a gorgeous pear-green backdrop and true to its grade shows virtually no flaws except some very minor corner touching.
