Produced in 1915 by the Cuban company Obsequio de Susini and designated as N230-3 in the American Card Catalog this sample features Hall of Fame member Tris Speaker in a unique image of him batting in a great black uniform. Graded “good” by SGC this sample retains great image clarity but does show some wear including staining and writing on its reverse and what appears to be some paper adhered on the front of the card. This is a strong sample of this difficult and unusual card.
