Extremely significant 1946 Montreal Royals Official Scorecard. The Royals of course were the first stop on Jackie Robinson's journey to the Major Leagues Robinson appearing in 124 games for the team batting .349 with 40 stolen bases and 113 runs scored. The unscored interior scorecard features a team photo that not only includes Jackie Robinson but also Roy Partlow Robinson's roommate and the third African-American player on the team (the second was pitcher Johnny Wright). The scorecard which has been scored lightly in pencil is in VG/EX condition with some fading to the image along the left and right edges. Otherwise however the piece displays extremely well.
