Finding any sample from the 1928 Star Player Candy set presents a challenge finding a midgrade sample featuring a Hall of Famer is very difficult. This sample graded “excellent” by PSA features Hall of Fame pitcher Herb Pennock and is a very strong sample from the set. Creaseless and showing only minor corner wear and some toning on its reverse this is a highly presentable card from a very challenging set.
