Extremely attractive higher-grade N174 with the tougher Gypsy Queen branding this card boasts strong corners and edges consistent with the grade and a clean image. Godfrey was the ring name of Alabama fighter Feab S. Williams and held the Colored Heavyweight Title in 1926 and again in 1931. Inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2007 Godfrey fought to a 95-21-2 record with 77 of his wins coming by knockout. One of just four examples graded by either grading company this is by far the highest-graded the next-closest being an example graded GOOD 20 by SGC. Quite an exceptional card.
