Collection of two issues of Sport magazine signed by Willie Mays in blue sharpie. These 1950s magazines come from a collection of signed magazines obtained by a dedicated sports fan who acquired signatures over a number of years during annual visits to baseball"s Spring Training. Included in this collection are two issues of Sport with Mays on the cover: June 1961 and October 1962. While both issues suffer from some general wear they display very well and are suitable for framing. The June 1961 magazine has some creasing and general wear at the spine and around the edges and the three "0s" in "$3 000" on the cover have been filled in with pencil. The October 1962 issue has some dirt and general wear along with creasing.The signature quality on both pieces however is very bold and vivid signed long after these publications were issued.
