While not in the National Baseball Hall of Fame popular player Frank “Lefty” O’Doul is widely recognized for his importance in helping establish baseball in Japan and was the first American enshrined into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame. This 1933 Goudey card certified by JSA features the popular O’Doul and has been signed in pen at the bottom of the card. While this card does have serious issues to its reverse (likely remnants of a scrapbook) its front presents well showing no creases and only general wear. This is a superb card featuring not only one of baseball’s more celebrated players but also a great signature.
