Exceptional tin display box measuring 18" x 15" x 12" intended to house packages of Polar Bear scrap tobacco in a retail environment. The box is fully functional with working hinges (the chain has come loose on the inside of the lid but is still attached at one end). Graphically beautiful the piece does exhibit considerable wear consistent with its age and use and yet remains one of the finest examples of this piece that we have encountered. Polar bear graphic elements and design accents are visible throughout the piece a wonderful companion piece. To add to the display value we have included an original unopened package of Polar Bear scrap tobacco minus its original plastic wrapping in outstanding condition otherwise. PLEASE NOTE: A closer inspection of the Polar Bear package reveals that the tax stamp sealing the package closed has been broken. While we do find the folds inside to be tight we wish to be clear that we are not making the claim that the Polar Bear package contains anything inside other than scrap tobacco.
