Seldom-seen regional issue featuring only members of the Baltimore Orioles the Johnny Pro issue features large (4 1/4" x 7 1/4") full color photographs die-cut from a green background so that the players could be stood up (similar to the 1964 Topps Stand-Up issue but significantly larger). The blank-backed cards are as one would imagine very difficult to find in higher grades - between chipping on the green edges and punching out the die-cut player images nice examples are tough to find. Presented here is a complete mid-to-high grade set averaging EX to EX-MT with a few better and a few lesser. Cards of Hall of Famers Brooks Robinson (2 different) Earl Weaver and Jim Palmer (2 different) add to the appeal of this set. An exceptional group of cards an attractive oddball modern issue that we find quite pleasing. 28 cards total.
