In one of our favorite poses in any gum card Carl Hubbell exudes supreme confidence and relaxation a phenomenal pitcher on his way to the Hall of Fame. Leaning back against (presumably) a dugout or outfield wall the youthful pitcher"s 1933 exploits of 46 consecutive scoreless innings are already chronicled on the reverse of the card.
